Shapes Introduction Video

Intended for preschool, this video will introduce the shapes to the children so when we compare them to everyday objects later on, they will have mastered their shapes. The video allows the students to watch first and then they can get up and make the shapes with their arms. This allows some physical activity (gross motor skills) as well as being engaging to the students.

Shapes Song by Jack Hartman

For the preschool grade, this video will compare the shapes we see on paper to everyday objects you see. Jack Hartman shows what objects are in what shape while providing a catchy song you can sing along to! This allows the preschoolers a chance to see a visual comparison of the objects and a chance to sing along as well since the song repeats the chorus often.
